With 5th Dimension in tow, the new quartet led by Düsseldorf-based guitarist presents earthy, straight-ahead post-bop with a playful sense of openness. Joining him are his close musical companions Christoph Klenner on tenor saxophone, Conrad Noll on double bass, and Daniel Guerrero on drums. On two tracks, the band is further joined by Vincent Pinn on flugelhorn. Lively interaction, curiosity, and a playful spirit shape the interplay of this ensemble.
